The purpose of the Student Ministry at All Saints Anglican Church is to reach students with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and equip them to serve. The Bible, the Gospel, and a focus on Community are the pillars of our student ministry. We seek to be a safe place where students can explore and deepen their Christian faith by reading and studying the Bible together, where they can learn and discuss how the Good News of Jesus matters for their lives, and where they can connect with other students to form real spiritual friendships. Our goal is to partner with parents to help our students grow into a mature understanding and expression of their Christian faith and, we hope, to have a little fun along the way. Karen Kearney is the Director of the Adult Choir and principal musician for the 8:30 am worship service. The choir rehearses on Wednesdays at 7 pm. During this current epidemic, the choir finds itself widely separated, sitting out in the parking lot for an acapella rehearsal. A quick recording is made in the Nave (widely separated) for playback on Sunday morning. This seems to be working. Occasionally, she and Will Wingate, Contemporary Worship Director, collaborate on joint services which include music from the style of all of the congregations. Becki Jahn is the Children’s Director for All Saints. She provides a wonderful program called Camp DIT (Disciples in Training) whereby children experience their own church service which includes worship, a dynamic bible story, communion, and reflection prayer time. Camp DIT is held during the contemporary service time at 10:30 am. Contact Becki@allsaintsweddington.org to learn more!
Our nursery is open during both Traditional and Contemporary services for your convenience.
